Following a strategic review, EUobserver is seeking a new marketing and sales director to deliver on its ambitious plans for growth in its business activities.
EUobserver is seeking an experienced and resourceful marketing and sales director to deliver a marketing and sales strategy. The strategy will build on EUobserver’s distinctive role in the EU news arena to deliver higher revenue growth from our group subscription and membership schemes, advertising and sponsorship deals, engagements with potential funders and other relevant areas.
You will have a professional track record in creating strong branding and long-term value that delivers returning customers and clients and higher sales for organisations.
You are a leader who understands how to use trends, developments and opportunities in the media market to deliver results.
And you will believe in EUobserver’s challenging mission to support European democracy through its journalism.
EUobserver's Marketing and Sales Director is responsible for refining and delivering EUobserver's marketing and sales strategy and increasing the organisation's revenue activities, including membership sales and services, group subscriptions, advertisements, events, fund raising and other revenue-generating activities.
The job also includes staff management, administrative and financial oversight as well as marketing of EUobserver's brand across Europe and globally to grow its readership and influence.
